Ingredients
8 oz cream cheese
3/4 tsp garlic powder (not garlic salt)
1/4 cup fresh grated parmesan cheese
1 tbsp fresh grated Romano cheese
1 tbsp (rounded) finely chopped sweet red pepper
1 green onion (scallion) white and green finely chopped
1/2 package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
1/2 cup grated medium cheddar
pinch of cayenne pepper
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400F
- Mix first 4 ingredients with a mixer until soft and well mixed.
- Add next two ingredients and mix to incorporate
- Add spinach and mix on low until just incorporated.
- Put mixture in an oven safe dish
- Top with cayenne and cheddar cheese
- Bake for 15-18 minutes or until bubbling around the edges
- Remove from the oven and let set for 5-7 minutes
- Serve with deep fried or baked pita wedges and/or tortilla chips
- To make wedges use Greek style pitas and bake at 400F for 5 minutes
