Ingredients

  • Base
  • 1/3 cup margarine

  • 1 3/4 cup graham wafer crumbs

  • 1/4 cup sugar

  • 1/4 cup flour

  • Middle
  • 3 1/4 cups boiling water

  • 1 large box raspberry jello powder

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 4 cups frozen raspberries

  • Topping
  • fresh whipping cream with 2 packages of Dr. Oetker whipping stabilizer you can find next to the dream whip or puddings. It will keep the whipping cream firm and won’t turn watery if you keep it longer for a day.

  • Shaved Chocolate
  • Semi-sweet chocolate squares shaved on a grader as many as you need to garnish the dessert.

Directions

  • Melt margarine. Add graham wafer crumbs, flour and sugar. Press firmly into a 9 x 13 pan. (You can freeze for 1 hour.)
  • Add boiling water to raspberry jello powder and sugar. Stir to dissolve.
  • Stir in frozen raspberries until just starting to gel. (Sometimes the frozen raspberries make it set faster so you’ll have to watch it if you chill them in the fridge.)
  • Pour over base. Chill overnight.
  • Beat whipping cream until firm and spread over the jelly base.
  • Sprinkle with shaved chocolate.

Notes

  • You can also just use Cool Whip for the topping.
