A common English side dish made with only a few ingredients. A great pairing for roast dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 c. flour

  • 1 c. milk

  • 1/4 tsp. salt

  • 2 eggs

Directions

  • Prepare flour and salt in a a deep bowl. Add the eggs and 1/2 c. milk. Beat this batter with a fork until it is smooth.
  • Add the remaining 1/2 c. milk and beat well.
  • Let the batter rest for 30 min. before baking.
  • Grease a muffin tin with margarine then pour the batter into the tins.
  • Bake at 425F until dry. Approx. 25 min.

Notes

  • This recipe can be doubled.
