Chocolate Frosting

This is my favorite chocolate frosting for cakes and cupcakes.

Ingredients

  • 3 c. icing sugar

  • 1/2 c. cocoa powder

  • 1/4 c. softened margarine

  • 1/3 c. milk

  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

  • Pinch of salt

Directions

  • Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl.
  • Beat at slow speed for 45 seconds until blended.
  • Increase speed to high for 2 minutes until smooth.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of milk and icing sugar to get the consistency you want.
